Yesterday’s hearing on the legality of the abortion pill in the United States was a stark reminder of just how fragile our rights are in this country. 

Access to this most common form of abortion care can be stripped away by one unelected judge on any given day. And if it’s not by a right-wing judge, major pharmacies can control our access — several have already vowed not to provide the pill, even in states where abortion remains legal. 

We should not have to fight so hard for our basic human rights — but since that’s the reality we live in in a post-Roe world, we’ve created the Abortion Pill Hearing Rapid Response Fund. This is an emergency fund that will help us respond to whatever decision Judge Kacsmaryk hands down.
