SUPPLIER DIVERSITY
New policy takes effect April 1
Enterprise Services' new Supplier Diversity Policy to increase goods and services purchases from small, diverse and veteran-owned businesses in Washington goes into effect April 1.?
Enterprise Services launched the policy and related resources in October 2022 to give all state employees six months to complete the required training.?The training must be complete by April 1.

OFFICE SUPPLIES
New vendor pricing active next month
Contractors for Contract 06019 for office supplies -- Pacific Office Solutions and ODP Business Solutions -- have been approved for price increases on April 1.
Price adjustments will be calculated by category. Categories include:
- Ink and toner
- Batteries
- Writing implements
- Paper, common and specialty
- Filing, reports and storage
- Mailing, packing and shipping
- Other misc.
New pricing will be reflected on the 06019 Contract Summary page by April 1. Questions may be directed to Neva Peckham.
RENEWABLE DIESEL
Let DES know how pricing should be set
Enterprise Services is seeking feedback on the appropriate price index for R99 (renewable diesel fuel) from purchasers located in any of the seven regions who are purchasing off Contract 08721 for fuels: ?gasoline, diesel and renewables.
DES hopes to hear from purchasers about which index is the appropriate benchmark pricing for R99 ?in their region and whether the price for ultra-low sulfur diesel (ULSD) is a suitable alternative pricing method.

DUMP BODIES AND SNOWPLOWS
Contract amendments affect two vendors
DES amended Contract 01117 for dump bodies and snowplows this winter, reflecting pricing changes for one vendor and a contract takeover for another.
Amendments for vendor The Fab Shop:
- One offered a temporary economic price adjustment and clarified price adjustments activated in December.
- Another granted a permanent economic adjustment and further clarified the contract price-adjustment process.
Vendor OSW Repair & Equipment completed an Assignment and Assumption amendment, taking over the contract from Northend Truck Equipment, effective Feb. 1.

New email for Creative Office contact
360 Office Solutions, formerly Gordon Products Inc., is still doing business as The Creative Office on two statewide contracts after completion of an Assignment and Assumption.
Ordering processes are not expected to change for Contract 03420 for add-on office systems furniture or Contract 06019 for office supplies. The only change is Scott Brewer's new email address is?[email protected].
FLOORING
All vendors get the nod for annual price adjustment
DES has approved vendors?for an annual price increase?on Contract?01820?for flooring and installation services.

RECYCLED CONTENT PURCHASING
Preference policy now complies with mandate
DES has revised its Recycled Content Purchasing Preference policy (DES-255-00) to align with revisions in state law.
The primary change is a new section that explains the mandate for the use of compost products. Find the revised policy and related resources on the DES website.
