Last week, President Biden released his annual budget for the fiscal year. Here are just a few things the proposed budget includes:
🏠 Strong protections for working families! By expanding the Child Tax Credit, expanding SNAP benefits, and funding opportunities for affordable housing, President Biden's budget aims to make the economy work for everyone.
🏥 Plans to make healthcare more affordable for the average American. Under this budget, the life of Medicare will be expanded for 25 more years and help make prescription drugs more accessible. The plan will also allocate funds for pandemic preparedness and mental health initiatives.
🌎 Protections for our democracy and global standing. Not only will President Biden's budget boost efforts to protect and modernize our elections, but it will also make critical contributions to innovation, education, and American industries.
Diana looks forward to working with the administration to make this vision of a better, brighter future a reality for millions of Americans. This can all be done by simply making sure the wealthiest Americans pay their fair share.
