Be Sure Your Dates Are Occupation-Free! Dear Email, Have you purchased your Occupation-free dates yet? With Ramadan being just a few days away, we are reaching out to remind you to boycott Israeli dates and break your fast with justice this year. Since we re-launched our annual Israeli Date Boycott Campaign two months ago, we have mobilized millions of consumers to take Israeli Apartheid dates off their shelves. Hundreds of influencers, student groups, grassroots, and national organizations have shared our campaign materials all over social media. In support of Palestinian liberation, boycott the thirteen Israeli date brands and retailers: Hadiklaim, Mehadrin, Delilah, Carmel Agrexco, Anna and Sara, Shah Co, Sincerely Nuts, Urban Platter, Star Dates, King Soloman, Food to Live, and Navafresh. The commitment to our imperative boycott is unprecedented. Now more than ever, it’s time to keep the momentum going. We’re just a few days away from the holiest month of the year. During this blessed time, our sacred Aqsa Mosque has been a consistent target of Israeli aggression for multiple consecutive Ramadans. As Muslims, we have a responsibility to take proactive measures, to refuse the dates of the occupiers that are desecrating our beloved Aqsa Mosque. Watch & share our campaign video here: Will you boycott Israeli dates in commitment to justice in Palestine during Ramadan? During this blessed time, here’s what you can do: 1. Join the movement by signing our pledge. 2. Check the label on all your dates as you purchase for Ramadan! Dates labeled “Made in the West Bank,” “Made in the Jordan Valley,” and “Made in Israel” are often Israeli. There are numerous Algerian, Tunisian, Emirati, and Californian varieties to choose from, or Palestinian dates, which are usually labeled “Grown in Palestine.” 3. Help amplify the boycott call by sharing the campaign posts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) on your social media. Use the hashtags #BoycottIsraeliDates and #ChecktheLabel |
