I’m so honored to have received this recognition of my work as a pro-choice advocate. Being the first pro-choice woman to represent this district in Congress is a tremendous responsibility and one that I do not take lightly.
With reproductive rights constantly under attack in our country – including a potential nationwide ban on an abortion pill coming as soon as today – we cannot slow down for even a moment in our fight to make reproductive autonomy the law of the land.
What a lot of people don’t know about EMILY’s List is that EMILY is an acronym. It stands for Early Money Is Like Yeast – because it raises the dough! (Get it?)
I couldn’t agree with this sentiment more – that’s why I’m asking you to make an early investment in my re-election campaign today. Every early dollar raised at this point in the election cycle makes an outsized difference down the line.
