Governor Mills Directs Flags Lowered in Honor of Chief Chris Greeley [ [link removed] ] 03/16/2023 05:21 PM EDT
Augusta, MAINE - Governor Janet Mills has directed that the United States and State of Maine flags be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset on Friday, March 17, 2023 at the State Capitol and in the Town of Holden in honor of late Holden Police Chief and former State Representative Chris Greeley. Funeral services for Greeley will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. at the Anah Shrine Building at 1404 Broadway in Bangor.
"Chris Greeley was a dedicated public servant, a wonderful colleague, and above all else, a good friend. The impact of his tireless work to make Maine a better place will be felt for generations to come," said Governor Janet Mills.
