The sad thing is: Republicans can turn ANYTHING into a partisan shouting match.

Marjorie took a bag of dirt, launched into an anti-immigrant tirade, and had her base losing their minds over how we need to build a wall.

That’s all it takes. One bag of dirt.

When did common sense go out the window?

I’ll tell you when:

When true leaders realized that in order to run for Congress they needed to raise millions and millions of dollars.

When they were told to stop working on policies and start dialing phones begging for money.

When it became clear to them that they needed to sell out completely to special interests who would control their messaging.

They left. And they were replaced by people like Marjorie – people who don’t think, who do what they’re told, and who don’t care what happens so long as they get their name in the paper.

This is the problem we’re trying to fix.

Hard Reset is going to build the biggest war chest for actual, sensible leaders so they don’t need to sell out – we’ll invest in campaigns that otherwise would have gone bankrupt for turning down corporate PAC money.

We’ll allow a new generation of commonsense Democrats to run for office without going broke, taking bribes, or succumbing to the same bullshit that turns bags of dirty into dirty bombs.
