Friend, have you seen the attacks from the political establishments who are attempting to mischaracterize and demonize our movement? Our National Co-chair Dr. Benjamin F. Chavis, Jr. recently had an op-ed published in The Hill that details how our movement is ensuring a viable option for the American public because the ideological extremes have become more powerful than ever. And we want to be clear; No Labels is not and will not be a spoiler – we are ensuring a viable option for the American public. What is spoiling our politics is the absence of civility, bipartisanship, and respect for equality and democracy. More than 60% of Americans do NOT want a rematch of the 2020 election and over 40% consider themselves independent or unaffiliated. What we are doing is creating an insurance policy, and if the two parties don’t want to see an independent ticket in 2024 all they have to do is stop ignoring the majority of the country. That is why we’re collecting signatures in all 50 states to gain ballot access and allow independent, bipartisan policy solutions and candidates to engage in the 2024 election but to be frank, it’s not cheap. On average, we have to collect about 20,000 signatures in each state but some states, like Florida, need at least 145,000. After factoring in labor, materials like clip boards, pens, and paper, and travel - you can imagine how fast the costs add up. That’s why we need you to pitch in $10, $25, or even $100 today to No Labels 2024 so we can keep collecting signatures to get on the ballot and up the pressure on the establishments of both parties. |
