New Orleans DSA - Weekly Update

Tonight at 7pm, DSA New Orleans Political Education Working Group is proud to host its first session of the Spring 2023 Reading Series. Join us as we delve into our city's past in order to better change the future.

This session, the Reading Group will be discussing The South: Jim Crow and Its Afterlives by New Orleans author Adolph L Reed, Jr. This will be a hybrid meeting, both in person at Parish Hall (2533 Columbus St) and online via Zoom.

Come prepared with observations and questions! Or — haven't had time to read the book yet, but are curious about dropping in on the discussion? No problem! This meeting is open to all. We hope you can join us.

New to DSA? Check out our chapter's new member resources here. If you've got any questions about how to get involved or the work our chapter is doing, give us a shout at [email protected].

Not yet a member? The most important tool that the working class has is organization. We're strong when we fight together. We have to build a durable, mass political organization to wield the kind of power we need to win real change in our society. If you aren't a dues-paying member of DSA yet, join today!
