PROTECT ABORTION IN THE STATES → DONATE NOW! [[link removed]]
Team — There has been a LOT of news out of Michigan lately, so we wanted to share an update:
Late last week, the Michigan state House and Senate voted to repeal the 1931 abortion ban on the books. Now → the bill heads to the governor’s desk to be signed into law.
This is HUGE news, friend. At a time when anti-abortion extremists in state legislatures across the country are enacting widespread bans on abortion and reproductive health care, this move is a big win for the 80% of Americans who want to see abortion rights remain protected!
But the hard truth is that we can’t rely on every state legislature to pass the abortion protections American voters want to see — it’s why we helped voters pass a ballot measure in Michigan this past November to cancel out this ban and safeguard abortion in the state for good.
10 states remain where we could use ballot measures to protect abortion access. Will you help us gear up for the fights ahead so that we can protect reproductive freedom everywhere possible, friend? [[link removed]]
