For over 35 years, MPAC has remained dedicated to advocating for American Muslims and making progress in policies and perceptions that impact our communities. Whether it is in Hollywood, Washington, the local mosque, or the neighborhood church, our various programs are connected by a single thread: an unyielding commitment to truth. That is why, with Ramadan just a few days away, we are both humbled and excited to announce the launch of the Truth In Action Campaign.
The United States and the world have been overrun with disinformation and conspiracy theories that have led to increased division and animosity amongst everyday people. “Truth” now varies depending on who you ask and is being warped and abused by biased media and extremist ideologies alike. It is clear that our work is more important than ever, and our marathon of public service must continue.
As you prepare for the holy month and make your plans for which causes to support, we ask that you consider a zakat-eligible investment in support of our work to bring truth to American politics and Hollywood.
