Team, I’m excited to announce new leadership roles at the NDRC: I will be taking over as Executive Director, and my colleague John Bisognano will be the NDRC’s next president.

Since 2017, grassroots supporters like you helped the NDRC lead the fair maps movement across the country. As a result, we witnessed a historically successful redistricting cycle, and helped secure the fairest U.S. House maps in 40 years.

Right now, we’re preparing for a decade of continuous redistricting activity. As we head into the 2024 elections, there are active lawsuits against congressional maps that could affect as many as 29 seats. That means redistricting could be a deciding factor in which party wins control of the House.

As Attorney General Eric Holder has said, “the threat to fair maps continues and so must NDRC’s work.”

Our victories over the past several years would not have been possible without you, team, so I hope we can count on you to stick with us in this next critical phase.
