Dear John, The Immigration Reform Law Institute (IRLI) has just launched a major lawsuit against the city of Washington, D.C., and we need your immediate support.
The Washington, D.C. City Council has passed a law that allows noncitizens to vote in city elections. The only requirement is that people live in the city for 30 days to vote!
That means that virtually anyone can vote for mayor, city council, and other offices. Illegal aliens and even foreign diplomats from countries that hate America would be eligible to vote in elections in the capital of the United States!
If this D.C. voting law is allowed to stand, it may be just a matter of time before politicians in your community implement similar laws. This law cannot be allowed to stand. |
That is why the same day this election law went into effect on March 14, IRLI attorneys filed a lawsuit against the city.
IRLI’s legal team is the best pro-enforcement legal group in the country. But this uphill battle will require major resources to take on the anti-borders bureaucracy in Washington, D.C.
That’s why IRLI is also launching a campaign to raise $100,000 by April 31st. I ask you to make your best contribution of $30, $50, $100 or more as soon as possible to help us meet this critical goal. |
IRLI has a proven track record of fighting and winning against these threats to our freedoms, and are undefeated in taking on the Biden Administration and its radical agenda.
I thank you in advance for supporting this important cause and for taking action to defend the greatest nation on Earth. Sincerely, |
Tom Homan, IRLI Senior Fellow
Former Acting Director, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) |
