Seventy. Six. Years.
Wow! I was just sharing with Jodi the other day how hard it is to believe I
have already been in Congress for more than a year. We had that conversation
Monday as we embarked on a four-stop “Our Way of Life” tour announcing my 2020
re-election campaign. With campaign stops in Eveleth, Hermantown, Wyoming, and
Brainerd, I shared with hundreds of supporters our vision of an even brighter
sun shining even higher in the sky.

With historically low unemployment and an economy that is moving again, I want
to continue fighting for our way of life built on the opportunity, freedom, and
values we hold dear. I look forward to helping unleash the economic engine in
our part of Minnesota, fighting to ensure health care is affordable and
accessible, and keeping America’s economy moving with pro-growth policies that
provide working families greater opportunity and prosperity.

Did you know William Pittenger was the last Republican to get re-elected to
Congress from the 8th district? He did that in 1944. That’s right – with your
help on Nov. 3, we can make history and become the first Republican re-elected
to Congress from northern Minnesota in 76 years. Let’s do this!
Fighting for the Unborn
I was honored to join thousands of Minnesotans Wednesday who gathered at the
State Capitol in St. Paul forMinnesota Citizens Concerned for Life’s (MCCL)
March for Life

to demonstrate and reaffirm our commitment to the unborn. As a Christian and
father to four amazing children and someone who was endorsed in 2018 by MCCL
and National Right to Life, I want you to know that I will always protect the
unborn. Life is a precious miracle from God that begins at conception and ends
at natural death and I will continue to be a strong and vocal advocate for the
unborn.

Precinct Caucuses Just 6 Weeks away

One month from now, Minnesotans will have the opportunity to participate in
Precinct Caucuses. On Tuesday, Feb. 25, Republicans from around the 8th
congressional district will take part in the unofficial kickoff to the2020
campaign season
