Dear Neighbor,
One of the best parts of my job is speaking with young people and sharing my story about what inspired me to run for Congress.
I had the pleasure of meeting with several student groups from our area over the last few days.
Before leaving DC last week, I welcomed a group of middle school students from Southern California—including a few from Rowland Heights—to our nation's Capital.
I hope they had an exciting visit and safe travels home!

And this Tuesday, I was invited to speak with students at Whittier College and answer questions about my work in Congress.
My message to them was simple: we need more young people from diverse communities in politics.

These students are the next generation of activists, business owners, and community leaders.
After meeting with them, I know we have a bright future ahead of us.
