Gentle Reminder, the 9th Congressional District’s Community Project Funding for 2024 is now open. Deadline to complete application is March 17 2023 @ 5 PM.  Please see our pamphlet below on Community funding. Again, FY24 Community Project Funding applications are now live.

ALL REQUESTS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY 5PM ON FRIDAY, MARCH 17TH

NOTE: ELIBILE APPLICANTS ARE:

• GOVERNMENTAL ENTITIES 
• COMMUNITY BOARDS
• NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS

FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR COMMUNITY FUNDING.

Examples of the kinds of projects eligible to receive funding include:

• Clean water and drinking water infrastructure projects
• Construction/modification of municipal sewage treatment plants and drinking water treatment plants 
• Airport improvement projects
• Highway or transit infrastructure projects Streetscape improvements & neighborhood revitalization projects
• Local road infrastructure projects
• Public or non-profit housing rehabilitation
• Housing Development financing
• Residential conversions
• Workforce training centers
• Food banks
• Youth and senior centers

Under this years rules,  these types of projects are NOT eligible for funding:

Museums, commemoratives, memorials, Swimming pools, water parks, golf courses, Healthcare facilities, Medical research projects, Entertainment venues (e.g., theaters, concert venues).
