Indivisibles,
We're reaching out today with a special ask: [ [link removed] ]Chip in just $1 and join
the hundreds of thousands of activists whose small-dollar donations are
fueling some of the most "practical, strategically interesting" organizing
in the country. (Rachel Maddow's words, not ours).
Small donations, even just $1, fuel everything we do -- including our new
campaign to flip the House (more on that in a second). Because we don't
accept donations from politicians, parties, or corporations, we're highly
reliant on the support of grassroots donors.
In practice, that means our ability to launch, scale, and maintain new
programs is highly dependent on folks pitching in small donations when
they can. [ [link removed] ]So we're reaching out today and asking you to [ [link removed] ]make your
first contribution to Indivisible*.
Why now
Just last week, our very own Ezra Levin was on the [ [link removed] ]Rachel Maddow Show,
sharing our 2023 Indivisible Guide and rolling out our new
Unrepresentatives campaign.
[ [link removed] ]You can click here to learn more, but here's the short version: The
Unrepresentatives campaign is our blueprint for shining a light on MAGA
extremism in the House and those quietly enabling it -- in order to defeat
vulnerable Republicans and ultimately restore our Democratic trifecta.
Like all of our work, local Indivisible groups are at the heart of our
Unrepresentatives campaign. It's local groups who will be pressuring their
vulnerable Republican MoCs by writing letters to the editor, bird-dogging,
protesting outside of fundraisers, attending town halls, garnering local
media coverage, and developing the creative, eye-catching tactics that
Indivisibles are known for.
There's no one better suited for this work, but this strategy will take a
lot of organizing power and resources to pull off. [ [link removed] ]That’s why we’re
reaching out today and asking you to pitch in $1 or more to make your
first donation to Indivisible.
From fighting the MAGA assault on abortion rights to defending the rights
of LGBTQ+ youth and protecting Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid
from being put on the chopping block, your contribution ensures our
volunteers and local groups have everything they need to take on the
Republican House.
Why $1
We know making a donation, no matter what the amount, is an act of trust,
a statement of support for the work we’re doing. So we’re asking you to
chip in $1 of whatever you can to show you’re with us as we launch one of
our biggest organizing efforts to date.
And let’s be clear -- $1 isn’t just a symbolic show of support.
Indivisible has a massive network of thousands of local groups and even
more individuals taking action with us week in and week out. If everyone
receiving this email gave $1, it would fund our Unrepresentatives campaign
for half of 2023!
We know not everyone is able to donate right now (and that’s okay!), but
we’re counting on those who can make a donation today to pitch in to
support this movement and our critical work to hold MAGA Republicans
accountable and flip the House.

We’ll keep you updated as we continue to roll out the Unrepresentatives
campaign, but for now, you can read more about our strategy and the 18
Republicans we’re targeting at [ [link removed] ]unrepresentative18.org.
In solidarity,
Indivisible Team
