I found IGNITE and I knew helping other young women own their political power was the best way to fight for change.

John, I'm no stranger to wanting to change the world.

I was brought up believing that it was my responsibility to make a difference for the better wherever I could. But with so much happening in the world, it was hard to choose where I could make the most impact. I remember leaving my Global Studies class every day having learned about some new terrible thing happening in the world, and wondering what I could do to help.

Then I found IGNITE, and I immediately knew helping my peers own their political power was a great place to start.

When I spoke at IGNITE’s Young Women Run D.C. conference in 2019, I saw a whole community of young leaders who wanted to make a difference but needed support to tap into their potential. I had already been working to organize young people with March For Our Lives, but at IGNITE I saw a real need for young women leaders in politics.

So I stepped up. And John, I haven’t stopped since.

Since then, I’ve helped more Gen Z women than I can count to organize protests for reproductive justice, advocate for change on Capitol Hill and learn that it’s never too early to get involved.

That one IGNITE conference sparked my lifelong commitment to building a strong community of political activists!

Join me in celebrating women's history month by empowering young women to be change agents! Chip in anything you can right now and together we will make sure young women will use their power to advocate for policy change, organize their communities, and run for office! ([link removed] )
