Let's turn the 5th Blue in '24!

Greetings!!



The world is moving fast and we can’t wait, so **I am sending this email to formally announce my candidacy for Congress in 2024!** I am eager to get to work and prove that we, as Democrats, can best represent needs of everyone across the 5th.



I am even more committed to fighting for policies that will improve the lives of all constituents, not just the few, and I believe that we have the ideas that can create a more just and equitable society. By investing in education, creating good-paying jobs, and expanding access to healthcare, we can build the kind of NC we all want.



With your support, I am confident that we can make progress on these issues and more! We all understand that our district is RED, but after running in the last cycle, I truly believe that we can win!! If we work together, meet people where they are, and tell them how we can make their lives better, we can shift the tide.



Our 2022 campaign received over 100,000 votes and gained 5% over 2020, and that was with EXTREMELY limited resources. Imagine what we can do with almost two years, a focused organization and motivation! The Republicans and Virginia Foxx have done NOTHING for the folks in the 5th and we have a great story to tell.



To tell the story, I need your support. There are 20 months until the election and with hard work and dedication, we can succeed! I promise to work tirelessly to earn the support of every voter in our district. I also promise to fight for all down ballot candidates, so we can win at the county, state and federal levels.



Together we can make a real impact. I hope that you will consider supporting my campaign and helping to spread the word about our message. Together, we can make a difference and create a brighter future for our district.
