SB 308, the Disability Hiring Preference bill, has a hearing in Senate Ways and Means, Tuesday, March 21st, at 10:30 am in room 548-S. Nancy Fontaine is the committee assistant you call if you want to provide testimony. Her phone number is 785-296-3775.
The deadline for bills to be out of the second house is Wednesday, March 29th. If you have a bill you are following that needs to be passed out of committee and worked on the floor of whichever chamber it is in, you should make phone calls or appointments to talk to the committee chair or your representative or senator about getting that bill worked, passed out of committee and then worked on the floor of the chamber.
