Hey John,
Last week’s Moore from Moore video comes to you from Washington, D.C., where I joined local, state, and federal leaders from Maryland to make it clear that Prince George’s County is the perfect home for the new FBI headquarters.
Watch last week’s video update here for more information on our efforts to bring the Bureau to Maryland, and more!
Here’s what else my administration and I were up to last week:
- Aruna and I visited students and faculty at Frederick Community College, one of Maryland’s great local community colleges. Our budget proposes historic investments in education, including $393 million for our state’s 15 community colleges like this one.
- I announced the development of a new Home Chef manufacturing and distribution center in Baltimore City, creating 500 new jobs for Marylanders.
- My family (including our new puppy Tucker!) and I joined other families and firefighters at the Annapolis St. Patrick’s Day Parade for a fun celebration.
I hope you’ll continue to tune in and follow our administration’s progress as we continue our work to move Maryland forward and leave no one behind.
Elevate,
Wes
