The Guardian: An organized group of insurrectionists’ is seeking to swing a vote with big implications for voting rights, redistricting and abortion.

The Guardian reports that in Wisconsin, millions of dollars have poured into the Wisconsin Supreme Court election from individuals and groups involved with promoting election disinformation and attempts to overturn the 2020 election." Donate to stop the onslaught here.

THE GUARDIAN: "At stake in the Wisconsin supreme court race are redistricting, abortion rights, and voting rights and elections policy. And these decisions go beyond the state: Wisconsin has been a critical swing state in recent presidential elections, so its voting policies affect more than just state residents."

With a conservative justice retiring, there is a chance to create a progressive majority on the Court for the first time in 15 years. Judge Janet Protasiewicz is a strong pro-choice, pro-democracy progressive whose victory would put progressives in charge until at least 2025.

Her opponent is a Trump conservative who has compared Social Security to slavery, fought to ban abortion, and railed against marriage equality.

After years of extraordinary organizing on the ground, the Democratic Party of Wisconsin has launched a massive field campaign to educate voters about this race and Get Out The Vote -- and the PCCC has been active in Wisconsin for over a decade.
