Out of State MD Summarily Suspended

OLYMPIA, WA ? In March?2023, the Washington Medical Commission (WMC) issued a summary suspension of the license to practice medicine of physician George Joseph Madera (License # 60535895).?

The WMC based its suspension on the New Mexico Medical Board?s suspension of his license in that jurisdiction. It is alleged that Dr. Madera failed to comply with the New Mexico Board?s rules for reporting adverse actions and engaged in disruptive conduct.
The conduct detrimentally impacted hospital staff?s ability to communicate.
