John, our water is facing threats on multiple fronts.

Earlier this week, the Biden Administration approved the Willow oil drilling project on the North Slope of Alaska. This is a major disappointment for the obvious reason – more drilling will accelerate climate change. But this project will also poison the waters the local Iñupiat communities rely on for their daily needs and fish from for subsistence

Another dire threat to our water is corporate takeovers of public water systems. Privatization leads to lower water quality, terrible service, and rate hikes that strain the pocketbooks of everyday people. Everyone deserves to have access to safe, clean, and affordable drinking water.

The future of our water depends on what we do today, John — and today, I’m urging you to join us in protecting our water by becoming a member of Food & Water Action.

Because of you, Food & Water Action has been fighting for clean, affordable water for all for over 17 years. We help communities rally against industries that pollute our waters, fight off privatization efforts of our water systems, end corporate water abuses, and upgrade underfunded water infrastructure.

In honor of World Water Day this March 22, I invite you to join our Food & Water Action community and push for sustainable solutions to the most pressing threats to our water.

Your generosity and continued commitment to protecting our planet will create the change we need to safeguard our water.
Can we count on you, John to become a member today and move our critical work forward?
