John, it's Maxwell. I was doing some reading last night and I stumbled upon some new research on age and diversity in Congress. Let me tell you why it’s important for our movement.
“The U.S. House of Representatives is getting younger – at least a bit”

This is proof that with Gen Z in Congress, we’ve kickstarted a generational shift in political power. That’s all thanks to everyone in our movement who refused to count young people out.
Problem is, that’s not the whole story. Although we’re making progress, this also shows that we have a long, hard fight ahead of us if we’re going to truly put power into the hands of young people.
But without the same grassroots support that got us this far in the first place, we won’t have the funds to keep pushing our movement forward, so I’m counting on you, John. Will you chip in $27 or anything you can? >>
Gen Z and Millennials make up a third of the country. Do you think these generations make up a third of Congress? Nope!
Just 12% of lawmakers in the House are Gen Z and Millennials, so it’s no wonder that Congress hasn’t made it a priority to help young people.
This is why we need a strong, lasting grassroots movement: to keep up this generational shift of political power and help bring more young people to the table.
But GOP leaders, the gun lobby, and so many other special interests see young people as a direct threat to their power, and they’ll spend every dollar they have to keep us silent.
That’s where you come in: Grassroots donations from people like you are the only way young people like myself can break into the same system that has kept us on the sidelines for far too long, so I’m counting on your support.
My campaign needs to raise $4,745 by midnight so I can stay on track of my End of Week goal and have the resources I need to fight for the future that my generation deserves. Will you pitch in $27 now? >>
Thank you,
Rep. Maxwell Frost
