Dear John,

The Biden administration has once again moved to dismantle important religious freedom protections.

Last month, the U.S. Department of Education issued a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) about their plans to rescind regulations put in place by the Trump administration in 2020 that protected religious student organizations. The Trump-era regulations stated that universities accepting public grants could not deny religious student groups funding due to their sincerely-held religious beliefs. This is a common-sense measure that must remain in place.

The period for public comment on this regulation ends next Friday (March 24).

Would you submit a public comment in opposition to this rule? The Department of Education needs to hear from you! We've provided a template for you but highly encourage you to personalize it and make it your own.

With free speech and religious freedom under attack on college campuses across America, we need these protections now more than ever. Unfortunately, the Biden Administration is seeking to undermine our First Amendment rights.

Sadly, universities are increasingly becoming hostile places to express your beliefs, especially those that are informed by a biblical worldview. We must stand up for the free speech and free exercise rights of American students.

It is vital that we show the Biden administration that we will not accept religious discrimination in higher education. Submit a comment now to oppose rescinding this rule!

Sincerely,

Your Friends at FRC Action
