March is Women’s History Month, so I’ve been reflecting on some of the incredible women and girls in my life. Can you take a moment to tell me some of the women who inspire you? [link removed]

Back in 2019 as a newly-elected representative, I remember Speaker Pelosi implored us to “know our why.” Why are we serving? Why have we come to DC? To answer this question, I’ll borrow a phrase from Whitney Houston – I believe the children are our future. Each and every day, my granddaughters (along with my grandson, Sawyer) inspire my work. Why do I serve? To ensure that the future is safe, bright, and full of opportunities for girls like my Aubrey, Ella, and Scotland (and Sawyer, too!).

But for the first time in our history, women and girls have fewer rights than their mothers, or in this case, their grandmothers . We have a tremendous responsibility to protect and advance our constitutional rights – for our girls, for our children, for our future – and I’m committed to doing just that.
Women’s History Month isn’t just about honoring those who came before us; it's also a time to lift up this and the next generation of incredible women. So, if you’re willing, can you share with me some of the inspiring women in your life? [link removed]
