Just kidding.We're writing this from Minnesota, so we can only guess. But here's what's not a joke: Mitch McConnell decides what gets a hearing in the Senate -- and if he doesn't like a bill, it stays in his legislative graveyard.

Mitch McConnell and the GOP-led Senate don't want you to know it, but Dean and his House colleagues have passed a whole lot of legislation in the past year -- nearly 400 bills that would lower prescription drug prices, increase gun safety, reduce the influence of big money in politics, and more.

McConnell has spent his five years as Senate Majority Leader playing partisan games and stonewalling legislation that would fix our democracy -- and he would love nothing more than to see Dean lose his seat to a GOP opponent.
