Friend,

The “Stop Harassing Owners of Rifles Today” Act, aka the SHORT Act, has been gaining momentum in the Senate.

This bill would permanently de-regulate short-barreled rifles (SBRs), short-barreled shotguns (SBSs), and any other weapons (AOWs), by removing them from the National Firearms Act.

We need you to make sure you tell your Senators to support this bill!

TAKE ACTION!

This bill was introduced by Sen. Roger Marshall (R-KS) in response to the Department of Justice and ATF changing the rules on what classifies as an NFA item.

The rule change makes all those who have braces/fins on their pistols, and do not comply, in violation of the law.

This makes the threat of persecution from the state very real, but not if these weapons were completely removed from the NFA.

TAKE ACTION!

The SHORT Act would completely remove the regulation, taxation, and registration of SBRs, SBSs, and AOWs from the NFA letting them be treated like any other regular rifle or shotgun, as they should be.

What that means is that you would no longer have to register your firearm with the State, apply for and pay for a $200 tax stamp, or be subject to random searches of your property by government goons looking for an excuse to shoot your dog.

Please, click on one of the take action buttons on this email to demand that your Senators support the SHORT Act and call for the de-regulation of these firearms!
