Today is the deadline to respond to the 2022 Economic Census. Businesses that were asked to participate in the economic census have until *March 15* to respond before the nonresponse follow-up begins. The response period began January 31 with the mailout of invitations to respond.

As part of this census, the Census Bureau collects data in the U.S. Virgin Islands, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Guam, American Samoa and Puerto Rico (collectively referred to as the Island Areas).
