Hi,
Donald Trump is waging a massive assault on Social Security — and we're
mobilizing to stop him.
Trump has directed the Social Security Administration to review and likely
cut disability benefits received by 2.6 million people. According to the
New York Times, his targets include older adults, impoverished children
with disabilities, and adults and children with cancer and bipolar
disorder.^1
We can stop him, just as Americans stopped Ronald Reagan when he tried the
same thing in the 1980s. But we need your help now. Can you speak out
against this horrible plan?

Reagan's attack on Social Security disability benefits in the 1980s
resulted in 200,000 Americans losing their earned Social Security
benefits, and thousands lost their lives.
Thanks to a massive public outcry, Reagan was stopped and Social Security
was saved.
Trump's plan is the same thing all over again. He would require millions
of Americans receiving Social Security Disability Insurance and
Supplemental Security Income to go through an onerous, difficult process
of proving once again that they are eligible for benefits — as often as
every six months.
This week Trump made it clear he plans massive cuts to Social Security and
Medicare.^2 His attack on disability benefits is just his first step. He's
hoping that Americans will look the other way and let him get away with
this initial, brutal attack on Social Security. We have to stop him. Now.
Will you help?
