As I've said before, one of the most common questions I get is, "Why would anyone take on Jerry Nadler, Chair of the Judiciary Committee, during impeachment?"

At this point, it is clear that Adam Schiff was the right choice to lead this important moment in time — and for good reason.

An NBC headline read, “Key Moderate Republicans 'Offended,' 'Stunned' After Nadler Accuses Senators of 'Cover-Up,'” while RollCall reported Adam Schiff both literally and figuratively sidelined Rep. Nadler at a press conference after he provoked a rebuke from Chief Justice Roberts.

From the mishandling of Corey Lewandowsky's testimony, to the reprimand from Chief Justice Roberts, I don't believe Rep. Nadler has gotten us where we need to be. And not just on impeachment.

We’re facing different issues now than we were almost 30 years ago when Rep. Nadler was first elected. We need proactive leadership with a modern perspective on the needs of today — like climate change, our housing crisis, and challenges of raising a family.
