Friend, we’ve had the environment’s back for half a century.

EnviroVoters is celebrating its 50th anniversary as an organization. That’s 50 years of battling on the frontlines of the state’s toughest environmental and climate battles. 50 years of resisting inaction. 50 years of achieving results from the Safe Drinking Water and Toxics Initiative in 1986 to the climate courage budget last year.

We could not have come this far without the constant support of members like you.

As we look ahead to the final seven years before the 2030 deadline for preventing the most devastating effects of climate change, we are counting on you to help us keep our mission growing and pushing forward.

Friend, will you help us commemorate 50 years of environmental action with a donation of $5 or more? Your birthday gift will help us keep up the fight to solve the climate crisis, stand up to Big Oil, and protect our future.

EnviroVoters has been a leader in the environmental movement for 50 years, and today stands as one of the strongest voices in California climate advocacy.

Friend, do you remember when we released our 2022 California Environmental Scorecard in January grading every state legislator’s actions from last year? We’ve been releasing a Scorecard to hold elected officials accountable since 1973!

Though our mission has shifted over time alongside the constantly evolving environmental movement, one thing has remained the same throughout our history: We have been committed to building resilient, healthy, thriving communities, and creating a democracy and economy that is just and sustainable for all.

Our efforts aim to rethink and build an economy that is based on clean energy, the creation of new good-paying union jobs, and sustainable land-use policies and transportation systems. Anti-racism is central to our theory of change and our approach ensures that Black, Indigenous, and all communities of color, who have been historically left out of the political process, will be included.

Our results speak for themselves, friend — just look at last year when we pushed the state to pass a $54 billion climate budget and numerous landmark bills and regulatory actions.

We don’t have another 50 years to solve the crisis. We have just seven years to make the necessary investments to avoid the most catastrophic consequences of climate change.

Thanks for fighting with us.
