Folks — over the weekend, the Colorado Republican Party chose its new chair: an election-denying extremist who fervently believes Donald Trump won the 2020 election. The new GOP chair also supports ending a woman’s right to abortion in Colorado — and refers to himself as a “wartime leader” fighting back against the agenda of Democratic leaders like Brittany Pettersen. Here’s what all this means: it means that in the next election, we can expect to go up against even more ugly personal attacks, even more far-right conspiracy theories, and even more efforts to undermine the integrity of our elections here in Colorado. And we need to be ready to fight back against all of it if we’re going to keep Colorado blue. If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
The Colorado Republican Party would like nothing more than to defeat Brittany Pettersen, turn this district red, and fill this seat with an election-denying extremist in the mold of their new leader. We can’t let that happen — and if we’re going to stop them, we need the resources to fight back against the ugly attacks we know will come our way. Thank you, Team Pettersen
