Here's why we fight so hard to elect pro-choice LGBTQ+ candidates: they get things done. The two latest examples: LGBTQ+ elected officials succeeded in passing nondiscrimination protections in Michigan AND made Minnesota a refuge state for trans people seeking gender-affirming care!

Victory Fund endorsed candidates Michigan state Senator Jeremy Moss and Minnesota state Representative Leigh Finke wrote and proposed the language in these essential bills. And right now, we're working to elect even more LGBTQ+ leaders to pass essential bills like these. Pitch in to keep moving equality forward!

Pro-equality forces have been working to pass nondiscrimination protections in Michigan for the last several years - but it wasn't until we won a pro-equality majority that the legislation had the votes needed to pass and head to the governor's desk. And now, thanks to the hard work of LGBTQ+ elected officials in Minnesota, trans kids and families will have a safe haven in a sea of states that have passed anti-trans bills.
