Dear John,
As the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) Director said last week, our nation’s debt is a real problem. While many are unfazed by the impending disaster that is our national debt, here are the facts:
According to a recent CBO report, we’re about to hit the debt ceiling, our national debt is projected to hit $154 trillion by 2053, and the net interest of our national debt will be a $10.5 TRILLION burden for taxpayers over the next decade. The federal government cannot saddle future generations with such a crippling burden.
I’d like to hear your thoughts on this issue. Do you think our national debt is a real problem? Take my one-question survey to let me know!
