Trump orchestrated an extremist overhaul of the federal bench. In order to take back our courts, our senators must confirm President Biden's nominees and prioritize filling every vacancy on the federal bench.

President Biden has picked exceptional judicial nominees. Many of his nominees are workers’ rights lawyers, abortion rights lawyers, and voting rights lawyers who bring with them a diversity of experience and backgrounds wider than those of our sitting judges. Additionally, a majority are women and people of color, who would bring crucial representation to our disproportionately male and white courts.

As the Senate settles into the new Congress and the Senate Judiciary Committee holds hearings for nominees, they should ensure that nominees reported to the full Senate are confirmed expeditiously.
