Hi friend, there have been a number of important updates in our campaign, so I wanted to take a moment to make sure you had the latest. Here’s what you need to know about my campaign in IL-17.  

• This week, the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) listed me as one of the top targets they want to unseat in 2024. I was the only House member from Illinois added to their list, which means our race is poised to become the most competitive in the state.
  
  
• Last week, House Democrats designated me as a "Frontline" Democrat. The Frontline Program is how the national party signals to Democrats across the country that winning our race is essential in our effort to retake the House.
  
  
• The analysts at Inside Elections just released their first report on the major House races of 2024. They explicitly called out IL-17, and said we will remain "the most competitive House race in Illinois.”
  
  
• The end of this month marks my first public FEC deadline as a member of Congress. It's hard to overstate just how important it is that we show the largest fundraising total possible.
