It's Women's History Month. Let's help all women and girls live their fullest lives by stopping violence before it starts. 


** Allies help women succeed

March is a time to celebrate the achievements of women. In celebrating the important contributions women have made to societies past and present, we also remember the barriers that have prevented women from reaching their full potential.

Read on to find the latest research and resources on the reality of women's experiences online and in public spaces and how you can help women in your workplaces, in your classrooms and in your friends groups feel supported.
Save the date: New resources coming May 15th

On May 15th, we're releasing new learning resources ([link removed]) to give education providers and parents the knowledge and tools to introduce the concept of gender and inequality to children and youth in a way that is safe and meaningful.

‘Building Gender Equality for Young People: A White Ribbon UK Learning Resource’ has been developed by expert practitioners and will be available on our website as an open-source resource.


** Allyship means listening

So far this year, we've welcomed 179 new White Ribbon Ambassadors and Champions to our network of change makers, and have welcomed over 20 new Accredited and Supporter Organisations.

On International Women's Day, March 8th, we remained silent on social media and asked men and boys in this network to do the same so the voices of women and those helping women ([link removed]) could be prioritised .
