Joint report reveals difficulties British Muslims face accessing healthcare.

MCB partnered with Marie Curie, University College London (UCL), and the University of Leeds to research the palliative and end-of-life care needs of British Muslims during and after COVID19.
The study aims to address the challenges and inequities faced by this community and promote a more inclusive healthcare system.
The resulting report was launched in parliament, highlighting the urgent need for action to improve access to end-of-life care for British Muslims.

MCB participates in MCF's #CostOfLivingCrisis roundtable.
During the inaugural #CostOfLivingCrisis roundtable organised by MCF, MCB participated in discussions with charities from all over the UK.
The roundtable aimed to deliberate on the direct and indirect impact of the present economic crisis on minority and faith groups and their associated charities and places of worship in the UK.
MCB's CfMM promotes fair representation of Muslims and Islam in media.
This month, Director Rizwana Hamid conducted two Masterclasses for Sunderland and Kingston Universities, met with LBC and BBC for journalist training, and attended IMPRESS's new Standards' Code launch.
CfMM also contributed to IMPRESS's updated clause on discrimination. Community Liaison Officer Amanda Morris presented at Green Lane Masjid's 'Best Practice Conference for Mosques'.
