I need your help to make history, John: 

My race in California will determine whether we elect the third-ever Black woman in our nation’s history to the Senate – where there are no Black women currently serving today.

But right now, I’m falling way short of my $50,000 mid-month goal, and time is running out to close the gap before tomorrow’s midnight deadline. So please, will you rush $5 now to fuel this campaign forward, win this race and send a Black woman to the Senate?

I have an incredible opportunity to not only secure a historic victory in California, but also expand Democrats’ Senate majority. I can be the additional vote we need to finally abolish the filibuster, address economic injustice and pass crucial legislation like restoring abortion access nationwide. 

Initial polling shows that a large majority of California voters are undecided, which means this is anyone's race to win. But if we miss big goals like this one, I won’t have enough resources to reach voters all over the state with my progressive message.

So please, before tomorrow’s mid-month deadline, will you donate $5 to help me win in California and build a progressive future for all of us?
