Each year, Healthy Futures of Texas recognizes two individuals and one
organization for their contributions to the fields of adolescent sexual and
reproductive health. Nominations are currently being accepted until March
31,
2023. Honorees will be recognized at the 12th Annual Symposium April 24,
2023, in Houston.

RISING STAR AWARD 

The Rising Star Award was created to recognize an exceptional individual
under the age of 30 who has become an emerging leader in the field of
adolescent health in Texas through service, leadership, advocacy, or
research.

CHANGEMAKER AWARD 

The Changemaker Award was created to recognize exceptional individuals who
have made remarkable contributions to the fields of teen pregnancy
prevention and adolescent health in Texas through service, leadership,
advocacy, or research.

COMMUNITY PARTNER AWARD 

This award recognizes an organization that has made outstanding
contributions to the fields of teen pregnancy prevention and adolescent
health and should have a sustained record of successfully addressing these
issue areas locally, regionally or statewide.

THAN 50 SPEAKERS will be on hand to share their experiences and answer
questions to help you become a more effective advocate for young people in
your community. There are several program options to fit your needs

or 4/26. Workshops are in-person only.
* Can't make it to the hotel? All programming on 4/24 and 4/25 will be
offered virtually in real time.
* Are you a social butterfly? Join us in person on 4/24 and/or 4/25 at
the Hyatt Regency Houston/Galleria [6] to experience the full program which
includes time to network with your peers. 
* If you are a clinician and need IUD or Nexplanon training, look no
further! Join us for free on 4/24 for this important training. 

CONTINUING EDUCATION IN MULTIPLE DISCIPLINES WILL BE PROVIDED:

* Earn up to 19.25 CEUs [7] for the in-person event
* Earn up to 11.25 CEUs for participating virtually
