We're just three months into 2023 and we're already making waves.
We've responded to countless social, economic, and climate related issues and banded together to make our voices and communities heard to influence policy. And we've never stepped down from the fight to provide transformative mutual aid support to communities in need, not only in NY-16 but in communities all over the world.
None of this would be possible without your continued support, John. And if we want to ramp up the volume and impact of the work we do — we need to make sure our campaign is financially on track with our goals.
Our FEC deadline at the end of the month is the litmus test for our movement. Reaching this goal will prove to our opposition that no matter what obstacles they place in our path, we have the people power and the grassroots momentum to keep making strides in our fight for progress.
So today I wanted to reach out and ask one simple question: If you are able, can we count on you to support this movement with a donation of any amount so that we can post the strongest fundraising numbers come March 31?
We need to have each other's back, John. The current profit-over-people politics that has taken over our democracy is not sustainable and will not be accepted. Especially when the call for change grows louder and deeper each and every day.
Working families, students, people experiencing homelessness, people with disabilities, laborers, teachers, and so many others deserve a democracy that truly represents them.
In Congress, I refuse to make compromises for my constituents. I will be unwavering in my work to hold conservative Republicans and Democrats accountable for their actions and inactions. And I will never stop being a voice for those who have been silenced for far too long.
