Last week on Capitol Hill, I was focused on pushing back against Biden's failed border policies, stopping Big Tech from colluding with the federal government to censor Americans, finding the truth about the origins of COVID, and protecting parents' rights, and highlighting the reckless tax and spend proposals in Joe Biden's liberal budget proposal.

HOUSE REPUBLICANS PASSED A BILL TO DECLASSIFY ALL INFO RELATING TO COVID ORIGINS

This week I voted in favor of a bill that would force the Biden administration to declassify ALL information relating to the origins of COVID-19.

The Senate passed this bill back in 2021, but Nancy Pelosi and House Democrats REFUSED to bring it to the floor for a vote.

We could have known this crucial information two years earlier, but because Democrats love to put politics above the truth, we are behind the curve.

Republicans promised the American people that we would get to the bottom of the origins of COVID and we are delivering on that promise. Passing this commonsense bill is a great first step to holding Communist China and those responsible inside our federal government accountable for covering up the truth. I joined Sean Spicer to update the American people on our COVID-19 origins investigations.

PUSHING BACK ON BIDEN'S FAILED BORDER POLICIES

Biden's border crisis continues to get worse by the day. This self-inflicted humanitarian and national security disaster is impacting families and communities across America—including Kansas.

Joe Biden and liberals in the White House refuse to take meaningful action to stop the flow of criminals, drugs, weapons, and human trafficking from coming over the southern border and into our communities.
This week on the Oversight Committee, I discussed how the record amount of fentanyl being trafficked over the border is impacting Kansans. I highlighted the heartbreaking story of Cruz Burris—a 15-year-old high school student who died of a fentanyl overdose earlier this year.

Enough is enough. Republicans are taking action.

PARENTS BILL OF RIGHTS

As a father of four young kids, I know how important it is that parents, NOT POLITICANS, are in control of their children's education. This may seem like common sense to many Americans, but unfortunately, Democrats are hellbent on taking away parents' rights and indoctrinating our youth with their woke ideology.

During the pandemic, we got a glimpse into what information was being taught in the classroom. When concerned parents went to their local school boards to make their voices heard, they were kicked out and labeled as domestic terrorists by their own federal government.

This is unacceptable and un-American. That's why I am proud to back the House GOP's Parents Bill of Rights to ensure parents ALWAYS have a seat at the table.

DESIGNATING MEXICAN CARTELS AS TERRORIST ORGANIZATIONS

Mexican cartels are taking advantage of Joe Biden's weakness and lack of action at the southern border. For two years, these criminal organizations have had operational control of the border and used it to traffic drugs, criminals, weapons, and humans into America illegally.

I joined Chip Roy in introducing legislation to call these criminal organizations what they truly are—terrorists.

Mexican cartels are using fentanyl to target America's youth. The time for action was yesterday. We can't just sit by and watch America's next generation fall victim to accidental fentanyl overdoses fueled by fake pills flooding our border. We must hit back, and hit back hard. Read more here. Joe Biden and his liberal staffers in the White House bullied social media companies into censoring conservatives online.

We saw it with the New York Post's reporting on the Hunter Biden laptop and we saw it with COVID-19 origins.

Big Tech and Biden bureaucrats have NO BUSINESS telling Americans what is and isn't "disinformation." This week, House Republicans passed legislation that would block Biden from colluding with Big Tech to censor lawful speech on their platforms. I will ALWAYS fight to protect Americans' right to express their views online.

This week, Joe Biden released his massive tax and spend budget proposal. This far-left wish list doubles down on the policies that crushed our economy, created the border crisis, and forced tax hikes on Americans in every single income bracket.

Rest assured, this ridiculous proposal is DOA in the Republican House.
