A few weeks ago, I was proud to lead the effort to end all military and financial aid for the War in Ukraine. I had a crazy idea that we should secure our own Southern Border before we secure a corrupt nation halfway across the globe!

But my mission to stand up to the Military Industrial Complex on behalf of the American People didn’t end there…

Last week, I forced a vote on legislation to end another forever war, this time in Syria, and to BRING OUR TROOPS HOME NOW.

Allow me to set the stage:

FIRST – Obama gets us into a Civil War in Syria.

THEN – President Trump (the first president in DECADES not to start a new war!) does everything he can to get us out.

But NOW – The Deep State is fighting tooth and nail to keep us locked in this quagmire indefinitely. They’re using authorization for use of force in Afghanistan, 2001 to justify conflict in Syria, 2023!

These neocons think they can construct democracies out of sand, blood, and Arab militias. That’s why I had no choice but to stand up to them and file a War Powers Resolution to finally end this conflict. It’s time to put AMERICA First – not the Military Industrial Complex First!

But John, the D.C. War Machine made sure to strike this down. They would rather keep us stuck in a mission with no clear objective and keep our sons and daughters on the battlefield than say no to defense contractors and special interests.

It’s yet another reminder of what the America First Movement is up against.
