John, Equal Pay Day serves as a harsh reminder of the ongoing struggle that women - especially women of color - face in securing gender equality, financial security, health equity, and basic civil rights.  

We must act and close the gender gap that puts women at a significant disadvantage compared to their male counterparts when it comes to pay! Add your name to close the gap once and for all!

These financial inequities disproportionately affect women in careers from science and tech to teaching and nursing, where women make far less than male co-workers, even with similar qualifications. Even worse, the pay gap is growing both for unmarried women and for mothers, basically making having children a penalty.
