The numbers are in and VoteRiders reached more than 7 million voters in 2022. 

That’s just one of the many exciting numbers included in our recently released 2022 Impact Report. Take a look at the major impact we had on the 2022 midterm elections by ensuring that millions of eligible voters had the voter ID they needed to vote with confidence. 

In the report you’ll also learn that together, we:

🗳️ Printed and shipped 1 million Voter ID Information cards to partners for free;

✉️ Wrote 140,000 letters to voters;

📱 Sent 3.7 million text messages to voters;

🤝 Worked with 1,155 partner organizations;

☎️ Responded to 7,500 calls or texts to our Helpline/Chatbot;

🙌 Worked with 9,000 volunteers; and

🪪 Helped 11,000 individuals obtain ID and/or underlying documents.

You can also read testimonials from the folks we helped to obtain IDs and cast a ballot, as well as about some of the new and creative strategies we used to work with partners to have a wider reach than ever before.

As we close the books on 2022, I am filled with gratitude for the dedicated and ever-growing VoteRiders community.

The stakes are high in 2023 and 2024 as more states implement strict voter ID laws and more eligible voters are at risk of being disenfranchised as a result. As big as we went in 2022, we need to set our sights even higher in the years ahead. 

Already this year, four states (AZ, NE, NH, and OH) have passed and are poised to enact new voter ID measures, with more foreshadowed as state legislatures convene this year. 

I look forward to your continued support and involvement in 2023 and beyond as we work to ensure that every eligible voter has the ID they need to cast a ballot that counts.
