We want to hear from you! Take our three minute survey now about how you use the Internet and what it means for our democracy >>

John, we’re gearing up for some major work at the intersection of media and our democracy.

  • The Affordable Connectivity Program – millions of households rely on to get and stay connected to the Internet – is running out of funding [1]
  • The Federal Communications Commission – the only federal agency ensuring we all stay connected – is developing its rules to prevent service providers from giving better internet services to richer neighborhoods and leaving less affluent neighborhoods behind
  • And the FTC is making major decisions about online privacy and the impact of social media misinformation on voters.

These agencies can’t make these major decisions about the future of Internet access that will impact every one of us without hearing from consumers. Can you respond to our three minute survey about your experience with the Internet and democracy?

TAKE THE SURVEY

These issues are crucially important – and could determine whether or not millions of households have equal access to reliableInternet, and how we combat election misinformation online.

John, your participation in this survey will help us advocate for policies that actually represent the needs of real people like you and me.

Thank you for your input, and I’m so glad to have you with us.
