John, it seems like we are underestimating the critical
importance of down-ballot victories. Not only is the power of these
offices crucial themselves, but down-ballot success absolutely
translates up!

In many areas across rural America, Republican control at the local and
state level has stopped progress in its tracks. Gerrymandering is just
one example. We recently reported to you about Republican county boards
withholding ARPA funding from their own communities for petty personal
and partisan reasons.

We need leaders who selflessly work for the good of their communities,
not leverage their control to secure yet more power in an attempt to
satisfy insatiable greed.

ROCC partners have successfully won victories in their local communities
by leading on the issues that matter to working families. We are
packaging those successful techniques as training tools to be adapted
and applied to other areas through direct consultation between
organizers across rural America.

It's a network built to benefit from the sum of our experiences and
bridge rural Democrats together in an efficient organizing
infrastructure. A system that we have lacked for far too long.

It's time to stop playing catch-up and start going on the offensive.
Help win these seats from the ground up by empowering local leaders on
their own turf. [ [link removed] ]John, will you chip in a small donation to

Remember, organizers can and do win elections! The path to victory in
rural America will be laid by their efforts. Let's do everything we can
to support them.

-Stay Involved!

ROCC is the organizing infrastructure bringing together activists and
organizations from across rural America to amplify the best grassroots
mobilization being done, adapt successful techniques to work in our own
communities, and empower local leaders in a partnership with no hierarchy.
