We are excited to announce that our Summer 2023 Government Internship application is open!

Our program has grown to hundreds of students across Long Island, and is open to all high school, college, and graduate students looking to make a difference.

Students will assist my office with our constituent engagement and special projects to improve our community. Whether a student is a new or returning intern, we are thrilled to see young people participate in public service!

Interns will gain hands-on experience and build crucial skills for success. Interns will hone their communication expertise and engage with guest speakers. Our internship is an excellent opportunity to meet fellow students from across Long Island, while also gaining valuable insights from Legislator Lafazan and his team. In addition to bolstering their resume, all interns will receive a certification of their position and volunteer hours.
